Stall Skin

Stall Skins are a low cost, lightweight, one-piece stall liner that will not shift in your stall. Water permeable so water and urine drain through the liner and away from your expensive bedding. Your bedding will last longer; your horse will be cleaner and stalls stay level and dry. Made of durable, non-woven polypropylene material, all you need to install it is a power drill and utility knife.

Easy installation: Step one: create a firm base of crushed rock (i.e. decomposed granite, road base, limestone screening, etc). If the ground does not drain, dig a leach pit in the desired area, fill it with gravel and level it out.

Step two:* for wooden barns* Simply lay out your Stall Skin, run excess fabric up the wall and attach directly to the wall with molding and screws. *for metal, concrete & pipe corral barns* Place 2x4 pressure-treated lumber around the edge and add finely crushed rock to grade level. Lay out your Stall Skin. Screw down through the molding and material into the wooden frame below. Cut off any excess material along the outside edge of the wood frame.

Step three: Wood shavings, straw or rice hulls perform well with Stall Skins. Extra absorbent bedding such as palletized sawdust or peat will work, but are less effective.
