This product has been very helpful in training our cat to stay off the kitchen counter. Although the product does sense vibrations (including loud noises), our cat can still jump on the counter without setting it off. Luckily, if we tap the counter it will set the Tattle Tale off scaring the cat away. The noise, although annoying, has deterred the cat and caused him to think twice about jumping on the counter.
