I have found the Snuggle Safe disc to the perfect solution to keeping our "sometimes" outside cats warm. I will heat the discs in the microwave then wrap them in an old bath towel and place in the cat beds (along a side so the cat can lean against it). Even when temperatures dip below freezing, the discs are still warm in the morning. No worries about finding an outside outlet or the chance of electrical shock due to a short. Our little old miniature doxie, Lizzie, loves her snuggle safe! We've used it for over a year and are so pleased with it. We travel a lot and she snuggles up with her "warm thing," as we call it, and is warm and comfortable for many hours.
